What is «WINE CRIME» – a wine crime? «Crime» in the phrase is by no means a «crime». The only correct translation of the name is «wine prank». This is a lightly dry, refreshing rose for adventures with friends. This wine gives birth to stories that are remembered for a long time laughing.
The history of Krama Cheptura winery begins in 2005. Today, after ten years of existence, the Ceptura Winery has a production capacity of 10 million bottles per year. This winery processes 10,000 tons of grapes per season, a storage capacity of approximately 6 million liters of wine, and modern technological equipment.
The winery is equipped with the most modern equipment from leading European manufacturers, so the production process is almost entirely automated.
An essential role in the development of the taste qualities of wine is played by its aging in oak barrels. Thus, the wine acquires a rich taste and a unique aroma. The Ceptura winery has barrels made by French carpenters – considered the best in the world.
The Ceptura winery uses a cold bottling system that preserves the wine’s unique natural qualities. It keeps the taste and aroma of fresh berries and all the nutrients the body needs.
Once the fruits are full of flavor and processed, ripening and bottling intensify them and retain their full and unmistakable taste.
The Ceptura winery is located in Cheptura, in the heart of the Dealu Mare vineyard in Prahova County, one of Romania’s most famous wine regions, with a unique vinification potential due to its particular microclimate.
Only here, the sun bathes the land and vineyards for 14 more days a year, which makes this land ideal for growing some grape varieties, such as those in the famous wine region of France (Bordeaux). Soil conditions and structure allow the cultivation of European grape varieties.
