Bostavan is the leader in the Moldovan market for producing quality wines, with exports to more than 25 countries and sales of more than 10 million bottles annually. Bostavan owns its vineyards, with a total area of 650 hectares, in the Onesti and Etulia microzones.

Bostavan wines have won many medals at international competitions Challenge International du Vin, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and Decanter.
Bostavan is part of the Bostavan Wineries Group, founded in 2003 by entrepreneur Victor Bostan. In 2010, the company’s shareholders were the American fund Horizon Capital and the World Bank (through the IFC investment fund), which invested more than $50 million in the development of the Group. Today Bostavan Group includes four companies: Purcari Winery, Bostavan Winery with two production facilities – Onesti and Etulia; winery Crama Ceptura, located in the Romanian region of Prahova and Moldovan brandy producer – company Bardar. The Group’s consultant is the famous Italian oenologist Federico Giotto, who maintains strict control over product quality: from soil analysis to the organoleptic characteristics of each drink.
