For the first time, exclusive whiskey called Kininvie was released in 2013 and entered different markets in minimal quantities, quickly becoming a cult due to its rarity. One of the reasons for this exclusivity is that Kininvie is a relatively young distillery founded in 1990 by William Grant Junet Shid Roberts (William Grant & Sons). The plant was built to take on the part of the production load of their nursing plants Balvenie and Glenfiddich. Most of the whiskey produced here is used in the popular assortment of blended whiskey, Grant’s and the Monkey Shoulder Blenda. The Kininvie distinction is located in the same place as Balvenie and Glenfiddich, in the Spaced city of Dufftown. It differs from most distilleries in Scotland since it consists only of a building with nine distilled cubes (3 cubes for the distillation of mash) and six cubic meters to obtain ready – made alcohol (Spirit Stills). Such processes as grinding, grouting, and enzyme energies are held in specific sectors in Balvenie. The distillery’s current volume of finished products is about three million liters per year, although its capacity allows us to produce up to 4.8 million liters.
