The Sauza tequila brand has a rich history that began in 1873, when Don Cenobio Sauza founded the La Perseverancia distillery in the Mexican state of Jalisco. He was one of the first producers to export tequila to the United States, helping to popularize the drink beyond Mexico.
Later, his grandson, Don Francisco Javier Sauza, continued the legacy, improving the production process and making tequila more accessible to the mass market. Sauza was also a pioneer in using autoclaves for faster agave processing, distinguishing it from the traditional method of baking in ovens.
Today, Sauza is one of the most famous tequila brands in the world, offering a range of products from the classic Sauza Silver to the premium Sauza Hornitos. The brand remains a symbol of Mexican culture and heritage.
