The history of Inkerman wines began in 1961 when the Inkerman Vintage Wine Factory was founded. The enterprise was created based on underground workings of building stone – bryozoan limestone, which was used for the post-war restoration and construction of the city of Sevastopol. At a depth of 5 to 30 m, galleries with a relatively low, constant temperature and humidity were formed, which became a prerequisite for creating a vintage wine factory.
Only the best wine materials of Ukrainian and imported origin are used to make wine. Today LLC «INKERMAN UKRAINE» produces still and sparkling wines under the Inkerman brand for sale in Ukraine. Still, wines are produced in Novaya Kakhovka, and sparkling wines – are in Odessa. The company fully controls the processes of harvesting, transportation, processing, fermentation, and bottling of wine.
Throughout its history, Inkerman has received 13 Grand Prix cups, 142 gold, 50 silver, and 13 bronze medals at international competitions.
