«Bagrationi-1882» is a Georgian company specializing in producing sparkling wines. The company was founded in 1937, but its history began long before that date. The company got its name from the name of the Georgian prince Ivan Bagration-Mukhuransky, a descendant of the Georgian kings. In the middle of the 19th century, he started making sparkling wines in Georgia, using the classic method of champagne, which involves the secondary fermentation of wines in bottles. The current plant has undergone complete modernization and is equipped with modern equipment. The company’s vineyards are located in three Georgia micro-zones in the Imereti, Kakheti, and Kartli regions.
