The Bulldog London Dry gin was first released in 2007 in the USA. Its creator was Anshuman Vohra, who set out to develop a modernized recipe for this traditionally English drink. In 2009, the brand began its European expansion by entering the Spanish market. Over the next six years, Bulldog London Dry gin became available in 55 countries. In 2017, it was bought out by the Campari Group.
The recipe for Bulldog London Dry gin is original. To begin with, the neutral grain alcohol is enriched with aromatic components – Spanish lemon and almonds, French lavender, German angelica, Turkish white poppy, Chinese longan, cinnamon, licorice and lotus leaves, Italian juniper and iris, as well as Moroccan coriander. These herbs, flowers, and fruits are macerated in a copper vat and then distilled. The resulting essence is mixed with wheat alcohol and demineralized water, achieving the final drink’s desired strength. The resulting Bulldog, London Dry gin, stands out for its extraordinary, rich, and recognizable taste. The color of the gin is crystal clear. It is recommended to enjoy it on its own by adding ice cubes.
