Cantina di Verona was founded in 1999. The winery is located in the picturesque hills northeast of the city of Verona. It produces wines such as Amarone Della Valpolicella, Recioto Della Valpolicella, Valpolicella DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso, Soave, Bardolino, Pinot Grigio, and other white and red IGT wines.
The annual production volume is 2,500,000 bottles on 950 hectares of vineyards. The company exports its wines to 20 countries worldwide, including Ukraine.
Today, the winery unites about 250 estates, which cultivates about 750 hectares of vineyards, including all areas with a designation of controlled origin (DOC, DOCG) in the hilly region of Verona.
In Greek, Valpantena means «Valley of the Gods», but in the Veronese tradition, it has acquired the meaning of «Valley of all wines».
In the heart of this valley, located northeast of Verona, operates Valpantena Verona, one of the largest wineries in the area.

In this region, ~18% of the DOC category of all DOC categories in Italy. The total area of vineyards in Veneto is 80 thousand hectares. Of these: 60% – are under white varieties, and 40% – are under red grape varieties.

One of the most popular sparkling wines in the world, Prosecco is produced in Veneto. For its production, the Glera variety is used. Prosecco has clear permitted areas for production.
