McClelland’s was founded in 1818 in Glasgow and was engaged in the production of various blends and their export to the international market. In 1970, the company was acquired by Stanley Morrison, owner of Morrison Bowmore Distillers, and today he continues to export McClelland’s whiskey worldwide.
As a brand in its own right, McClellands whiskey was first released in 1986. Thanks to his noble qualities, he became widely popular and even loved by many experts. McClelland’s Single Malt is represented by a line of single malt whiskeys from four central regions of Scotland: Speyside, Lowland, Highland, and Islay.
Each whiskey from this series has its aroma and taste, and the label traditionally depicts the landscape of the region in which this whiskey was released. The colorful drawings on the labels are by the famous British artist Kathy White.
