The history of Larios gin began in 1886 when French entrepreneur Charles Lamothe founded Jimenez & Lamothe Company. Initially, they were engaged in producing brandy, liqueurs, and Spanish wines. Later, the company was bought by Jose Aurelio Larios and became known as Larios, and the gin made was given the name known throughout the world – Larios Gin.
Larios gins are made using the traditional dry London gin recipe. They contain the finest ingredients from the Mediterranean. Larios 12 botanicals Mediterranea is a premium gin made according to an old recipe using 12 plants (coriander, clementine, lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pomelo, nutmeg, angelica root, juniper, orange blossom). Larios 12 botanicals Mediterranea is produced in 2 steps. The first stage consists of a 4-fold distillation using herbs, flowers, and nutmeg, thanks to which the drink acquires balance, depth, and a delicious bouquet. The second production stage is the fifth distillation using citrus fruits, which gives the gin a fresh aroma and silky taste.
